Asbestos Awareness Course- UKATA Approved (Cat A) Asbestos Awareness – From £85pp (exc. VAT)

This Asbestos Awareness course aims to raise awareness of the dangers of asbestos and the practical steps that can be taken to reduce the risk of exposure.

The main objective is to provide awareness and develop knowledge with regards to the hazards and risks posed by asbestos containing materials (ACM’s). It gives an overview of the legislative measures in place to permit employees to safeguard themselves and others affected by work activities.

The course is designed to educate participants on the practical elements of working with asbestos as well as the asbestos awareness element.

 The objective is to provide delegates with the theoretical and practical skills to undertake licensable work.

 ½ day Non-Licensed Operative Refresher – From £100pp (exc. VAT)

Who is this course suitable for?

As set out by the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, Cat B Non-Licensable Asbestos Removal Training and Refresher course should be given to workers who knowingly disturb low-risk asbestos-containing materials (ACMs).

DMD Environmental offers a complete UKATA-approved, licensable asbestos training course.  The Licensable Works (Cat C) asbestos training complies with HSG247 and regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. Training content is tailored for operatives, supervisors, managers, and directors.

The objective is to provide delegates with the theoretical and practical skills to undertake licensable work.

 2-3 days – New Operative, New Supervisor and New Manager – From £495pp (exc. VAT)

1 day – Operative, Supervisor and Manager Refresher – From £160pp (exc. VAT)

Who is this course suitable for?

This course is for people working for an asbestos licence holder as defined in Control of Asbestos regulations (CAR) 2012 (regulation 8).
